Jul. 3rd, 2013 08:13 am~~ it's cold & raining again
~~ you crave, and make, soup instead of salad for lunch
~~ you're buying cute christmas fabrics (b/c the UK shops can only order once, and when it's gone...)
~~ even worse selection of tv b/c: wimbledon
~~ did I mention the rain?
~~ you freeze your (censored!) off b/c, hey, is summer, & you're determined to wear your pretty linen skirts/dresses, and tana lawn skirts. (And then compensate with a winter woolie)
Must be july in the UK.

I *swear* this group is re-issue! I have good eye for pattern, and recognise the paisley and the small birds. *wanties*
A bright star
Dec. 9th, 2012 06:58 pmAstronomer, broadcaster and author, Sir Patrick Moore finally has access to All the Answers. I, and M specially, are thankfully to Source that we experienced his enthusiasm, albeit through the tv programmes.
Good night, Sir. Enjoy your next adventure.

I've been asked to make a baby quilt. Not really a prob, despite all the other projects I should be working on. The lady who asked (work colleague of M, as in, she works in same building, he knows her slightly) had seen another one I made and how the infant loves it, and wants one for her unborn. My problem is that she wants it 'more girly', and I don't know what that means. Guess we should meet up so she can 'splain it to me.
